Edward Hoyt has danced since he was 7 years old. At age 12 he was ranked professional in the USA for the art of Tap. He has studied all genres of dance but considers Tap his main craft and specialty. He has an electric personality which lights up every room he teaches in. He is an equally amazing dancer and teacher and his students all over are not only entertained in his classes, but greatly inspired to achieve their very BEST! Eddie is nationally recognized for his TV appearances on the widely acclaimed So You Think You Can Dance. As a competitor on SYTYCD Eddie was honored to be amongst the top 10 finalists. He also performed with the SYTYCD Season 16 tour, and appeared on talk shows such as ELLEN. Eddie is very busy and on great demand sharing his love for dance by teaching and choreographing not only throughout Utah where he now lives, but also throughout the US. Eddie is beyond excited to be working with Ascend Dance Convention and all the other staff members. Can't wait to get all those feet moving!
